Our Story – The Invite Shack

The Invite Shack began in January 2013, born from a true passion for creativity and wedding design. At the time, our founder, Liz Wills, was a Police Officer on maternity leave. One day, a friend asked if she could help design and make her wedding invitations – and Liz jumped at the chance. With a degree in Graphic Design and a lifelong love for beautiful stationery, it was the perfect creative project.

What started as a fun side project quickly turned into something more. The invitations were so well received that Liz began creating bespoke wedding stationery for other couples. Soon, The Invite Shack grew from a small hobby into a thriving wedding stationery business.

In 2014, Liz made the decision to leave the police and follow her creative passion full-time. Now, over 12 years later, The Invite Shack has helped hundreds of happy couples bring their wedding stationery dreams to life, offering everything from save the dates and wedding invitations to on-the-day stationery and thank you cards.
